Taher Shah breaks silence on the philosophy behind 'Farishta'

Last week, Taher Shah released his much-awaited third single Farishta, after touting it because of the savior against COVID-19. The song which took the living and breathing meme four years to release is actually an Urdu translation of his song Angel. However, the rather cryptic, animated video that accompanied it had been enough to go away everyone wondering, on what's Shah exactly trying to inform us?
Well, being the person of the folks that he's, Shah has gone into intricate detail about the philosophy behind Farishta.


According to the note, children like angels are ‘sacred’. “These little individuals are an essential component of our life. If we embellish our youngsters today, they're going to make us proud within the future,” the note read. Adding further, Shah believes that one child holds the key to changing the planet for the higher.

“It is thanks to them that life is gorgeous and wonderful. The song’s exclusive message is that an innocent child can change the planet with only one cute smile which may bring peace within the world,” the note read.

Additionally, Shah revealed that he wrote the lyrics, directed and produced the music video. The story is about “one cute child who as a king visits a phantasy world together with his loyal friend Unicorn”. In his travels, the kid meets a butterfly who “ultimately becomes fairy for the child” and therefore the two eventually fall crazy.

Shah makes another startling revelation that the kid is modeled after his own real-life son. The singer has dedicated the whole video to his own “adorable son” and youngsters across the planet. the attention to eye singer concludes his note by describing Farishta as a present to his admirers.
